Dr. Levon Nikoyan, originally from Armenia, has spent most of his life in New York. Dr. Nikoyan earned his Bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from New York University, obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Columbia University School of Dental Medicine and completed his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Woodhull Medical Center in Brooklyn. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and has published a number of articles on the topic of pre-operative management of patients prior to anesthesia.
Dr. Nikoyan has a special interest in pre- and post- implant soft tissue augmentation and soft tissue surgery, as well as special IV sedation techniques. Dr. Nikoyan has participated in numerous humanitarian missions to the Dominican Republic and Jamaica. Lastly, Dr. Nikoyan speaks many languages including Spanish, Russian, and Armenian.
